Job Duties: Associate, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Make prices and execute trades in asset classes such as equities, bonds, commodities and foreign exchange, usually dealing on behalf of, or for the benefit of, the firm's clients. Change and execute orders, manage risk of related books, and build relationships with sales, operations, engineering and structuring teams to facilitate premiere client experience. Work with other Trading desks and Sales / Investment Banking coverage to identify potential transactions and clients across various industries and products. Work with senior team members to proactively pitch and originate new transactions and build relationships with clients and advisors. Develop term sheets, marketing materials and internal committee presentations and produce detailed financial models, scenario and credit analysis. Work with control side personnel during execution to ensure transaction approval and support. Conduct in-depth market analysis, and company / asset-level due diligence. Structure and price transactions as part of collaborative team. Manage ongoing credit and/or funding risks post-execution.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Quantitative & Computational Finance, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Quantitative & Computational Finance, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master’s degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) with: utilizing structuring tools including Intex Deal Maker and Microsoft Excel; working with risk-management frameworks for hedging collateralized mortgage obligation (CMO); working with traders, salespeople, structuring, financial operations teams, and management to deliver liquidity for customers in agency mortgages; executing trade deals focused on agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS) with respect to CMO structuring; quantifying and analyzing cash flows and developing hedging and risk management strategies; and building tools to analyze single bond and to aggregate risk factors and yield profile.
