KKR is seeking to recruit an Intern to the KKR Capital Markets Asia team. The role will be based in Hong Kong and will support the team’s business activities across debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and co-investment.
For this role, responsibilities will include assisting deal captains in all areas of transaction oversight including guiding counterparties through the deal execution process (including preparing materials, answering Q&A, participating in due diligence / negotiation calls), and executing debt financing / equity raising opportunities. This is a deal-focused group, and this person will be expected to dig deep into every deal and understand the process from a financier or investor mindset. In addition to deal-related work, this person will be responsible for maintaining the team’s marketing materials, preparing market update, and various other work streams to build a foundational knowledge of the capital market space. You will cultivate deep relationships with financiers, LPs, and other investors to help guide them through deal opportunities.
This person will work closely with the investment teams and KCM teams based in Asia and globally. He/she needs to exhibit a strong understanding of debt and equity markets globally and be a very hands-on executive with the ability to multi-task and communicate upwards effectively. He/she will need to be a self-starter and quick learner.

In addition to strong academic and extra-curricular achievements, to be considered for the internship, applicants should meet the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master’s student
• Available to intern for a minimum of 3 months (June ~ August in 2025)
• Available to work on-site in our Hong Kong office for most days of the week
• Prior investment banking or buyside experience, and can demonstrate raw analytical horsepower and finance / modeling skills
• Candidates should have the ability to multi-task and clearly communicate qualitative and quantitative concepts
• Candidates should embody KKR’s core values, in particular: unquestioned integrity, a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork
• An ideal candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for investing, a strong understanding of fundamental business analysis and an outstanding academic record

• A candidate should also demonstrate good investment instincts, analytical capability and finance, accounting and modeling skills
• It is essential for a candidate to be a self-starter and motivated, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work both independently and within teams
