Responsibilities
The team is looking to hire a Senior Associate / Vice President to cover the Japan market and run the entire deal life-cycle including:
Coverage: Maintaining active dialogue with sponsors, advisors and management teams
Origination: Originating investment ideas across the product suite of the Private Credit team via early engagement with sponsors and advisors
Due Diligence and Execution: Leading all aspects of DD on the business, legal documentation and other analysis to support an investment decision at the Private Credit Investment Committee
Investment monitoring: Active monitoring of the investment including being an observer on company boards and having regular dialogue with the management team and shareholders
応募資格(必須経験など)
Qualifications
4 + years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance or private credit roles in Japan
Strong academic record with Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Engineering or a related discipline from a distinguished academic institution
Strong quantitative, financial modeling, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working with financial sponsors strongly preferred
Native level Japanese and strong business level English required
