This is a position in Morgan Stanley's M&A department for a Senior Associate or VP. The compensation is exceptional, with annual salaries ranging from $150,000-$225,000 for Associates and $250,000-$275,000 for VPs, plus incentive compensation and bonuses.
In this role, you'll be responsible for structuring and executing complex domestic and cross-border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, asset swaps, and defenses against hostile takeover attempts. Working closely with industry coverage groups, you'll deliver high-quality advice to clients. Beyond just following the numbers, you'll think creatively and lead teams of analysts and associates.
Required Qualifications:
・3-6+ years of relevant experience in investment banking (as an Analyst, Associate, and/or VP)
・Track record of working on complex M&A deals across various industry sectors
・Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment

3. Citigroup : Equity Research Senior Associate, BioTech, AVP (New York)
This position is for a Senior Associate/Assistant Vice President (AVP) specializing in biotechnology within Citigroup's equity research department. The annual salary ranges from $150,000 to $175,000, plus discretionary and formulaic incentive compensation and various benefits.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality investment insights to global investors with a strong emphasis on independence and objectivity. Key responsibilities include producing regular research reports, hosting investor meetings with company management teams, conducting conference calls with industry consultants, and maintaining regular communication with both internal and external clients.
Specific responsibilities include:
・Modeling: Maintaining & updating existing company models; creating new models; maintaining relative value sheets
・Research: Assisting with the publication of earnings previews/recaps, initiation reports, deep dive analyses, and other group products
・Communication: Responding to client inquiries and requests (both internal and external)
